Cynthia L. Barker joined Nicholson Meyer Capital Management in May 2008 after a 30-year career as Business Manager and co-founder of a family dental practice. During that time, she also managed a large portfolio of commercial real estate rental properties. Cynthia oversees all audit responsibilities for the trading activity of the firm. She verifies that all trades are properly documented and tracked for compliance reasons. She uses her considerable organizational skills to ensure compliance issues requirements are addressed.

Cynthia grew up as the youngest of four daughters on Dawson Angus Farm in Grant City, Mo, which she now helps manage. She spent her summers in high school filing checks in the vault of her grandfather’s bank. Her daughter, Abbie, has a Fashion Degree from UCM and an English Degree from MU. Cynthia enjoys reading, going to movies, vintage car shows and gardening. She is an essential part of the success of NMCM.
